Snaxsmart is your health food vending companion at work. Our objective is to help workplaces promote good health amongst its employees with healthy snacks and drinks. Coming at a day and age where health is not given its due importance, Snaxsmart is your HEALTH FRIEND when you need.

Vending machines are often common sources of sugary drinks, junk food and fat laden cookies and cakes. And Snaxsmart strives to make a difference here. The concept took its birth because one corporate professional, tired of the ways of eating at work, proposed to healthy access to health foods.

Snaxsmart makes healthy foods available in its vending machines, not too far away from your work bay. We understand that the human palate requires variety and taste. Hence our vending machines stock cereal bars, multi-grain cookies, dry fruits, dark chocolate, fruit juices, oats and cornflakes, buttermilk, soya milk and sports drinks.

Snaxsmart was conceptualized to promote a healthier lifestyle and therefore our vending machines stock the best of foods in state-of-the-art equipments. We represent quality besides health and so ensure that stocked foods are regularly checked for. Daily refills and expansions to the product line are some of the activities we periodically engage in.

Snaxsmart is backed by genuine intention of spreading the message of good health amongst fellow comrades, knowledge of a renowned nutritionist, elaborate research experience and extensive feedback from corporate professionals.

Our Team

Shankar Prasad


Shankar is the man behind Snaxsmart and the CEO. He has spent 25 years in the corporate world and understands exactly what happens there. Like he says 6-7 cups of coffee, that samosa in the evening or a couple of hot gulab jamoons during winter were a regular part of his diet at work. An unfortunate incident to a young colleague of his triggered the thought of Snaxsmart. He started Snaxsmart with the intent of giving back something to the corporate world – help people eat healthier food. He was the COO at Airtel, President of Tata Communications, President – Telecom at Trilogy, COO at Redbus, GM – Motorola, besides other assignments. He is a mechanical engineer and has a PGDBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Surajit Chakrabartty


Board Member

Surajit Chakrabartty is an avid finance professional with over 18 years of experience in well diversified sectors like E-Commerce, Retail, Media & Advertising, and Manufacturing. Prior to MedGenome, he worked with Redbus.in and Rediffusion group. He is passionate about building the ecosystem of an organization from scratch by putting the robust control and process across the organization and have been consistent in providing the required support to achieve the desired organizational goal. During his professional career, he has handled multiple crucial projects successfully like ERP implementation, designing internal control system, setting up EOU etc. He has held many leadership positions in strong and energetic environments and has been successful in conceiving, setting up and managing high end strategic financial projects especially in the start-up space. He has served as an advisor to many CXOs and has a great business acumen. His expertise is in, fundraising, process implementation, controllership, budgeting, fund management and Strategic finance decision making, M & A. Surajit, a Chartered Accountant from ICAI has won many accolades from within the organization as well as outside the organization namely:

JYOTHI SETLUR


Jyothi is a Nutritionist. Jyothi has a very good understanding of and experience in the field of Clinical Nutrition and Food Sciences having been in this line for more than a decade and half as a Nutritionist and Dietician. She has worked in organizations like Diabetacare, Manipal Hospital, and M V Diabetes clinic. She is an MSc in Food Science and Nutrition and has a Diploma in Microbiology of Food and Drugs from CFTRI, Mysore. She actively promotes the science of nutrition through articles in print media, talks on television, talks to industrial houses and general public, awareness camps, workshops, exhibitions etc. Snaxsmart is fortunate to have her on board.
